Mountain Ridge had won three straight at home, but on Thursday they bumped up to 4-4 to make it four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 36-33 win over the Williamsport Wildcats. For the Miners, this counts as revenge for the 47-27 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Mountain Ridge found their leader in sophomore Sean Wade, who picked up two sacks and made seven total tackles. Jasper Crissman also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making nine total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Mountain Ridge was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 204 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 91.4 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five contests they've averaged 149.7.
