St. James faced Fort Dorchester in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Sharks walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Patriots. The win was familiar territory for the Sharks, who have now won five matches in a row.

Despite the loss, Fort Dorchester still got an impressive performance from Cade Ridgway, who had 19 digs and two aces. Ridgway has been hot, having posted 19 or more digs the last six times he's played.

St. James' victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Fort Dorchester, they moved to 11-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. James will head out to take on Conway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Dorchester, they will venture away from home to face off against Lucy Beckham at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
