Basketball Recap: Moscow Comes Up Short

Moscow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 45-30 to the Lakeland Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bears this season, with their most recent defeat being a 53-27 loss two weeks ago.

Moscow's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Lakeland, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Moscow does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lakeland, they will square off against Sandpoint at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sandpoint will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Lakeland surely won't give up without a fight.
