Basketball Recap: Seymour Victorious

Seymour won the last time they faced Sequoyah, and David Canterbury did his part to make sure it happened again. The Seymour Eagles managed a 35-31 win over the Sequoyah Chiefs on Tuesday thanks in part to Canterbury, who posted 15 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Jack McAbee, who earned five points and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

Seymour's record now sits at 8-16. As for Sequoyah, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-17.
