Football Game Preview: Spring Hill Raiders vs. White House Blue Devils + Official Tickets

The Spring Hill Raiders will square off against the White House Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Spring Hill will be strutting in after a win while White House will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Spring Hill got the win against Montgomery Central by a conclusive 28-6.

Lionel Brooks had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 221 yards and two TDs while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 78 yards.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Spring Hill's defense and their three sacks. In that department, Carson Huffstutler was the leader with two. Huffstutler is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least seven every time he's taken the field this season. Another thorn in Montgomery Central's side was Reeves Gill, who picked up a sack, made eight total tackles (4.0 for loss), and defended one pass.

Meanwhile, White House took a blow against Springfield on Thursday, falling 42-14. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 164th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 29th).

This is the second loss in a row for White House and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for Spring Hill, their record is now 4-5.
