Basketball Game Preview: Stratford Tigers vs. Auburndale Apaches

The Stratford Tigers will take on the Auburndale Apaches on Thursday. Stratford will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

Stratford is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Hurley 64-32. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Auburndale hadn't done well against Marathon recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Auburndale sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-49 victory over Marathon. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Apaches.

Auburndale's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Stratford, their victory bumped their record up to 22-2.

Stratford came up short against Auburndale in their previous matchup back in January, falling 50-46. Can Stratford avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
