There's no place like home for the Southwest DeKalb Panthers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They claimed a resounding 52-18 win over Clarkston at home. That 34 points margin sets a new team best for Southwest DeKalb this season.
Southwest DeKalb found their leader in underclassman Aaron Burks, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Ushery, who scored 12 points.
Southwest DeKalb's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Clarkston, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
