Soccer Recap: Cory-Rawson Comes Up Short

Cory-Rawson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds.

Cory-Rawson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Lima Central Catholic, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cory-Rawson will welcome New Knoxville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lima Central Catholic, they will host Lincolnview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lima Central Catholic will be up against Lincolnview's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.57 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
