Basketball Recap: Taylor Snags Eighth Win in Last Ten Games

Taylor won the last time they faced Finneytown and things went their way on Friday too. The Taylor Yellowjackets came out on top against the Finneytown Wildcats by a score of 60-52. Given the Yellowjackets' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Wildcats are ranked 574th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Taylor is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Finneytown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-11.

Taylor has already played their next match (against New Richmond), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Finneytown will square off against Batavia at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. Batavia will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Finneytown surely won't give up without a fight.
