Soccer Recap: Sullivan Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Sullivan, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They never let the South Vermillion Wildcats get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Thursday. Charlie Ellis had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Sullivan.

The win got Sullivan back to even at 3-3-1. As for South Vermillion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sullivan will challenge Barr-Reeve at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Barr-Reeve's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for South Vermillion, they are taking a road trip to challenge North Putnam at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
