The Bishop's Knights will challenge the Canyon Crest Academy Ravens at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop's is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Bishop's came into this matchup off a tough six-run loss on Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Sweetwater by a score of 4-2 on Saturday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop's got a good showing from Clay Peckham, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave Peckham a new career-high in strikeouts (two).

Canyon Crest Academy's record is now 2-3. As for Bishop's, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Canyon Crest Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bishop's hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .328. It's a different story for Canyon Crest Academy, though, as they've only averaged .245. Will they be able to contain Bishop's hitters?
