While Dominion Christian put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Lakeview Academy. The Dominion Christian Knights blew past the Lakeview Academy Lions 11-0. That looming 11-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

Gabe Buckner was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Canaan Bowen also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Dominion Christian and bumps their season record up to 8-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Lakeview Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-2 record.

Dominion Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against Lakeview Academy: the pair will be back at it again later today.
