Football Recap: Tri-County RVT's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Tri-County RVT extended their winning streak (dating back to last season) to six on Friday, bumping them up to 3-0. They put the hurt on the Case Cardinals with a sharp 40-17 win. The Cougars pushed the score to 34-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cardinals cut but never quite recovered from.

Tri-County RVT was led to victory by Nick O'Brien and Declan Walker. O'Brien gained 295 total yards and three touchdowns, while Walker threw for 167 yards and three TDs. The dominant performance also gave O'Brien a new career-high in rushing yards (201).

As for Case, they now have a losing record of 1-2. They have struggled against Tri-County RVT recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Case lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brett Silva, who rushed for 88 yards and one score on only 11 carries. Aedan Borges was another key rusher, rushing for 105 yards.

Tri-County RVT wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 57-0 victory against Southeastern RVT on the 27th. As for Case, they have also already played their next game, a 33-0 win against Millis on the 26th.
