Basketball Recap: Asa Gonsalves Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Vanguard College Prep

It was a proper cat-fight when Ben Holt College Prep Academy challenged Vanguard College Prep on Friday. The Bobcats came out on top against the Lions by a score of 63-55. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won eight in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ben Holt College Prep Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Asa Gonsalves, who went 7-for-11 en route to 20 points. What's more, Gonsalves also posted a 57% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brandon Stinson, who shot 56% from the field to rack up 14 points along with seven boards and three steals.
