Two dominant backs in Lucca Boyce and Davion Joe are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Hand Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley Chiefs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hand is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

Hand is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Waterford with a sharp 43-19 win. Considering the Tigers have won seven contests by more than 23 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The dominant performance also gave Reh a new career-high in passer rating (165.2). Finn Barry was Reh's top target, picking up 93 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Hand didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Waterford to a completion percentage of just 43.8%. The Tigers have been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.61 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.61 in their last three games.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Wednesday Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley sidestepped New Fairfield for a 38-36 victory.

Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Hand, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
