Corner Canyon had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Mountain Ridge Sentinels on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Chargers, who have now won six matches in a row.

Corner Canyon found their leader in sophomore Torri Hildebrandt, who had 15 digs and one assist. London Burke was another key player, getting four aces and two assists.

Loss or not, Mountain Ridge got some senior leadership from McKynlee Miller and Madi Ryan. Miller had 12 assists and seven digs, while Ryan had 13 digs. Miller has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 11 times she's played.

Corner Canyon's win bumped their record up to 24-6. As for Mountain Ridge, with the defeat, they broke their 15-match winning streak and moved their record to 27-4.

Corner Canyon has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Skyridge on the 30th. As for Mountain Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Syracuse on the 30th.
