Volleyball Recap: DuQuoin Comes Up Short + How To Watch

DuQuoin lost against Nashville back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets.

While DuQuoin ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20.

Lainey Vancil paced DuQuoin's offense, picking up seven kills. Vancil got some help from Kenadie Hutchens and her nine assists.

Nashville was led to victory by Rylie Neuhaus and Aubrey Rhine. Neuhaus had seven digs and two aces, while Rhine had five assists. Those seven digs gave Neuhaus a new career-high.

DuQuoin's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Nashville, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

DuQuoin has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Benton on the 2nd. As for Nashville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Anna-Jonesboro on the 2nd.
