Harrisonville hasn't had much luck against Oak Grove recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Harrisonville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Harrisonville made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Odessa, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wildcats fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday.

Paige Cribbs was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Cribbs was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Cribbs wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Rileigh Shaw, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Oak Grove waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They blew past the Cardinals 13-3. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by seven runs or more this season.

Oak Grove's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Harrisonville, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Harrisonville might still be hurting after the 11-0 defeat they got from Oak Grove in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
