Volleyball Recap: Lisle Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Lisle hadn't done well against Indian Creek recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 win over the Timberwolves. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lisle took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-12.

Alaina Schroeder paced Lisle's offense, picking up five kills. Schroeder got some help from Anna Gorzkowski and her 15 assists. Sophia Harer controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Lisle now has a winning record of 18-17. As for Indian Creek, they dropped their record down to 4-24 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Lisle will square off against Johnsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indian Creek, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Lena-Winslow on the 25th.
