Basketball Game Preview: Templeton Eagles vs. San Luis Obispo Tigers

Templeton is 1-6 against San Luis Obispo since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Templeton Eagles will challenge the San Luis Obispo Tigers at 6:30 p.m.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Eagles on Friday. Templeton took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Arroyo Grande. Templeton just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.

Meanwhile, San Luis Obispo got the win against Atascadero on Friday by a conclusive 74-54.

San Luis Obispo has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points over those games. As for Templeton, they now have a losing record at 13-14.

Templeton might still be hurting after the 68-43 defeat they got from San Luis Obispo when the teams last played back in January. Can Templeton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
