Football Game Preview: Fivay Falcons vs. Gulf Buccaneers

The Fivay Falcons will square off against the Gulf Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fivay hasn't scored more than 12 points for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Fivay took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Hudson a 12-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Gulf came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 7-0. Give the Buccaneers' defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Gulf's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Fivay, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
