Dobyns-Bennett and South Greene are an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2016, but not for long. The Dobyns-Bennett Indians will be playing at home against the South Greene Rebels at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Dobyns-Bennett is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against David Crockett on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Dobyns-Bennett lost 48-25 to David Crockett. The contest marked the Indians' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, South Greene came up short against Cocke County on Saturday, falling 58-34. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Fighting Cocks are ranked 18th).

This is the second loss in a row for South Greene and nudges their season record down to 7-15. As for Dobyns-Bennett, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
