Eno River piles up the points against Excelsior Classical Academy

Recap: Eno River Bobcats vs. Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions

The Eno River Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 21 points or more this season. They blew past Excelsior Classical Academy 51-3 at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-0.

Eno River had a senior duo take command as Madison Hobbs scored 14 points and Abby Winslow scored ten points along with six rebounds. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for her. Ally Almers was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with four steals.

The win makes it two in a row for Eno River and bumps their season record up to 7-5. As for Excelsior Classical Academy, they bumped their record down to 1-8 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eno River will take on Roxboro Community at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Katherine-kaey "katie" Mann and Hobbs. As for Excelsior Classical Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vance Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
