The biggest upset of the week belonged to Dover, who took down 232nd ranked Dover, 44-28. Matt Przybocki ran for 304 yards in the win.
Burke Catholic moved up to 296 from 391 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 9 C-I. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of topping the Dragons 44-28.
Onteora's dynamic duo of Tim Shultis and Theodore Beecroft proved tough for Liberty to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Shultis threw for 126 yards and Beecroft had 70 yards receiving. Bernie Smith helped Onteora's passing attack out by catching two balls for 63 yards.
Burke Catholic's Robert Pezzullo and Mike Kelly have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Pezzullo has thrown for 1079 yards this season, while Kelly, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 28 catches for 618 yards. Jerry Nasi from O'Neill leads the league in rushing with 1271 yards.
The Indians extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Indians, 60-6. The victory was the fifth in a row for Liberty.
