Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spring-Ford). Their defense stepped up to hand the Upper Merion Area Vikings a 4-0 shutout on Friday. The match was close at halftime, but Spring-Ford turned on the heat in the second half with three goals.

Spring-Ford is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Upper Merion Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.
