Monticello has gone a perfect 10-0 against Orange County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mustangs will take on the Fighting Hornets at 6:30 p.m. Monticello will be strutting in after a win while Orange County will be coming in after a loss.

Monticello proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Goochland, sneaking past 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Mustangs, who have now won three matchups in a row.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Monticello who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 22-25, 25-12, 21-25, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Orange County lost 3-0 to Goochland on Tuesday. The Fighting Hornets haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Orange County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Monticello, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
