Basketball Game Preview: York Cougars vs. Broome Centurions + Official Tickets

The York Cougars will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Broome Centurions at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, York ended up a good deal behind Blythewood and lost 66-47.

York might have lost, but man, Peyton Lowery was a machine: he went 7-for-11 on his way to 20 points and seven boards. Lowery has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Zan Walling, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Broome unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 73-38 loss at the hands of Chesnee. The Centurions have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
