Volleyball Recap: Ascension Classical Comes Up Short

The Ascension Classical Admiral lost 3-0 to the Shreveport HomeSchool Sports Force on Tuesday. The Admiral have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-13, 25-13.

Ingrid Switzer paced Ascension Classical's offense, picking up three kills. Switzer got some help from Allie Grace Gregory and her six assists. Finally, Zy'Darius Davis kept Ascension Classical's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Ascension Classical's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Shreveport HomeSchool Sports, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.

Ascension Classical has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Lake Area HomeSchool Sports on the 10th. Shreveport HomeSchool Sports does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
