Volleyball Recap: Southwestern Randolph Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Southwestern Randolph was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Eastern Randolph on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles on Wednesday. The Cougars have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-11, 25-19.

Kinlin Hulin paced Southwestern Randolph's offense, picking up eight kills. Hulin got some help from Mary Kathryn Coltrane and her ten assists.

Southwestern Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Uwharrie Charter Academy, the win (which was their 20th in a row) raised their record to 24-3.

Coming up, Southwestern Randolph will square off against Jordan-Matthews at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Uwharrie Charter Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
