Softball Recap: Byng Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Byng's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-0 to the Lone Grove Longhorns, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Longhorns recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Byng's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Lone Grove, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

Byng didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 5-0 victory against Sulphur on the 9th. As for Lone Grove, they have also already played their next game, a 4-0 win against Plainview on the 9th.
