Carmichaels has gone a perfect 9-0 against Jefferson-Morgan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Carmichaels is taking a road trip to challenge Jefferson-Morgan at 4:00 p.m. Carmichaels knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Jefferson-Morgan likes a good challenge.

Carmichaels gave up the first runs last Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 13-8 win over Frazier.

Jas Zdravcky tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Robbie Wilson-Jones was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Ankrom, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Carmichaels kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.

Meanwhile, Jefferson-Morgan came up short against Greensburg Central Catholic on Wednesday and fell 5-2. The Rockets have struggled against the Centurions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Carmichaels' record is now 3-1-1. As for Jefferson-Morgan, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Jefferson-Morgan's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Carmichaels has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .558. It's a different story for Jefferson-Morgan, though, as they've only averaged .263. Will they be able to contain Carmichaels' hitters?

Carmichaels took their victory against Jefferson-Morgan in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 10-1. Does Carmichaels have another victory up their sleeve, or will Jefferson-Morgan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
