Basketball Recap: Alice Takes a Loss

Alice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the King Mustangs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coyotes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-42 back in December of 2024.

Alice's defeat dropped their record down to 11-21. As for King, their win bumped their record up to 14-18.

Alice will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Corpus Christi Moody at 7:30 p.m. Alice is facing Corpus Christi Moody at the right time seeing as Corpus Christi Moody is stuck on a 25-game losing streak. As for King, they will head out to take on Flour Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
