Softball Recap: Lehi Pioneers vs. Herriman Mustangs

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lehi ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Herriman Mustangs. Winning may never get old, but the Pioneers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Lehi let Liv Davies and Mya Maughan run wild. Davies went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base, while Maughan went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one triple. That triple was Maughan's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Piper Emery, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.
