Softball Recap: J.I. Burton Takes a Loss

J.I. Burton lost against Lee back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Black Raiders fell just short of the Generals by a score of 4-3. The Black Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

J.I. Burton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lee, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. J.I. Burton will square off against Eastside at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lee, they will take on Central Wise at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Generals are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
