Basketball Recap: Valley Heights Comes Up Short

Valley Heights lost against Centralia back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Valley Heights Mustangs took a 56-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centralia Panthers. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Centralia, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley Heights will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Frankfort on January 4, 2025. After both having extra time off, Centralia and Clifton-Clyde will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Clifton-Clyde is on a three-game streak of home wins, Centralia a 12-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
