Basketball Recap: James Wai Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Hatboro-Horsham

Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Jenkintown Drakes beat the Hatboro-Horsham Hatters 45-40 on Thursday.

Jenkintown's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but James Wai led the charge by shooting 71% from the field on his way to 11 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Manny Bowens, who posted ten points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.

The win got Jenkintown back to even at 2-2. As for Hatboro-Horsham, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jenkintown will welcome George Washington at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hatboro-Horsham, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Frankford at 1:00 p.m.
