Even though South Point scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, Ashbrook still came out on top. The stars were shining brightly for Ashbrook in a 73-59 victory over South Point. Given Ashbrook's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 35th, while South Point is ranked 214th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

As for Kings Mountain, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Ashbrook was able to grind out a solid victory over Kings Mountain in their previous matchup back in February, winning 52-40. Will Ashbrook repeat their success, or does Kings Mountain have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
