Volleyball Recap: Orange Cove Takes a Loss

Orange Cove lost against Wonderful College Prep Academy on October 1st and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Titans lost 3-0 to the Wolves. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-16, 25-14.

It was another big night for Daniela Macias, who had 18 kills, four digs, two aces, and one block for Wonderful College Prep Academy. Macias is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 27 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Selena Rico, who had three digs and one block.

Orange Cove's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Orange Cove will challenge rival Summit Charter Collegiate Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wonderful College Prep Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Farmersville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
