Basketball Recap: J.Z. George Comes Up Short

J.Z. George made up a huge gap compared to their last game against West Tallahatchie, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Jaguars fell just short of the Choctaws by a score of 56-53 on Friday. That makes it the first time this season the Jaguars have let down their home crowd.

J.Z. George's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for West Tallahatchie, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

J.Z. George and West Tallahatchie will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Jaguars see the court they'll take on Ethel at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. As for West Tallahatchie, their break will end when they face Coahoma County at 6:00 p.m. on December 3.
