Softball Recap: Baker Hornets vs. Davidson Warriors

With a playoff game on the line, Baker rose to the challenge on Saturday. They never let the Davidson Warriors onto the board and left with a 23-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for Baker, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kynleigh Carter was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Carter was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI.

In other batting news, Baker got a massive performance out of Morgan Vogt, who went 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and a triple. Lindsey Baxter was another key contributor, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-3.

Baker's win bumped their record up to 15-22. As for Davidson, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-17.
