New Kent won the last time they faced Bruton and things went their way on Thursday too. The New Kent Trojans walked away with a 62-49 victory over the Bruton Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Despite the loss, Bruton still got an impressive performance from Annalise Wood, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 boards. With that strong performance, Wood is now averaging an impressive 8.1 rebounds per game. Another player making a difference was Bella Prinz, who posted 16 points.

New Kent has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Bruton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

New Kent didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-44 defeat against Grafton on the 4th. As for Bruton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 44-40 loss against Tabb on the 4th.
