Basketball Recap: South Burlington Comes Up Short

South Burlington lost against Mt. Mansfield back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The South Burlington Wolves were dealt an 80-20 defeat at the hands of the Mt. Mansfield Cougars. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Burlington's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Mt. Mansfield, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 17-4.

South Burlington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-30 defeat against Champlain Valley Union on the 27th. As for Mt. Mansfield, they have also already played their next contest, a 55-44 win against St. Johnsbury Academy on the 27th.
