Volleyball Game Preview: Parkside Eagles vs. KIPP DC Legacy College Prep Bulldogs

The Parkside Eagles will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge the KIPP DC Legacy College Prep Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Monday, Parkside came up short against E.L. Haynes and fell 2-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with E.L. Haynes: they've now lost five in a row.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-8.

Meanwhile, KIPP DC Legacy College Prep faced Capital City Public Charter School in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the EAGLES.

KIPP DC Legacy College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Parkside, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Parkside came out on top in a nail-biter against KIPP DC Legacy College Prep in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
