The Blue Hill Bobcats will square off against the Silver Lake Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Blue Hill saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They slipped by Kenesaw 40-39.

Blue Hill got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Reece Mlady out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Mlady is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ellie Mangers, who posted 11 points in addition to five boards and three steals.
Blue Hill smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kenesaw only pulled down two offensive boards.
Meanwhile, Silver Lake had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.5 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 48-25 margin over the Raiders. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 23 points or more this season.
Silver Lake's win came from a few key players Blue Hill will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Sophie Schmidt, who put up 16 points and five steals. Emma Schmidt was another key player, putting up eight points and six steals.
Silver Lake's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points per game. As for Blue Hill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Blue Hill has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 26.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Silver Lake struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.1 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Blue Hill ended up a good deal behind Silver Lake when the teams last played back in January, losing 33-19. Can Blue Hill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
