Owyhee is ranked highly in their home state and on Sunday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Sidwell Friends. The Owyhee Storm took a 58-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sidwell Friends Quakers. The Storm's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sidwell Friends to victory, but perhaps none more so than Acaden Lewis, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 15 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Jalyn Collingwood, who went 7 for 13 en route to 14 points and six boards.

Owyhee's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Sidwell Friends, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Owyhee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-59 win against Centennial on the 22nd. As for Sidwell Friends, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 53-37 victory against Riviera Prep on the 20th.
