Basketball Recap: Delta Extends Winning Streak to Three

Delta extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Ayren Rapp. The Delta Saints breezed by the Creative Connections Arts Academy Dragons to the tune of 70-14 on Tuesday thanks in part to Rapp, who went 9 of 15 en route to 19 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Keller, who went 5 for 11 on her way to 14 points and three steals. Those 14 points gave her a new career-high.

Delta is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.9 points per game. As for Creative Connections Arts Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Delta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-21 win against Leroy Greene Academy on the 16th. As for Creative Connections Arts Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 0-0 loss against Fortune Early College on the 16th.
