Volleyball Recap: Shakopee Comes Up Short at Home Against Minnetonka

Shakopee unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Minnetonka Skippers on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sabers of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Looking ahead, Shakopee will square off against Waconia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Minnetonka, they will venture away from home to challenge Eden Prairie at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Skippers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
