Basketball Recap: Wolf Point Takes a Loss

Wolf Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Sidney Eagles, falling 64-44. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 61-44 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Wolf Point's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sidney, the win snapped their losing streak at eight games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-1 record.

Wolf Point will be taking part in a tournament against Lame Deer at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sidney, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Billings Central Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
