Football Game Preview: Mobridge-Pollock Tigers vs. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans

The Mobridge-Pollock Tigers will challenge the Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Mobridge-Pollock 14.8, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton 14.5) so any points scored will be well earned.

Mobridge-Pollock will head out to face Mt. Vernon/Plankinton after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. The Tigers took a 40-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Deuel.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Mt. Vernon/Plankinton and Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Titans put the hurt on the Blackhawks with a sharp 30-6 win on Friday. Considering the Titans have won three games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Mobridge-Pollock's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Mt. Vernon/Plankinton, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
