Garrison and Elysian Fields squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Garrison had to settle for second. They and the Yellowjackets were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered a 55-54 loss. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Garrison still got an impressive performance from Avery Yarbrough, who rushed for 258 yards and four scores while picking up 15.2 yards per carry. Yarbrough's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his ninth straight game with at least 118 rushing yards. Carter Crawford was in the mix as well, providing Garrison with two touchdowns.
